Inpaint reconstructs the selected image area from the pixel near the area boundary. Inpaint may be used to remove undesirable objects from still images. Delete any unwanted object from your photo, such as extra power-line, people, text… The program will automatically inpaint the selected area to erase it. If some unexpected object spoils an otherwise good photograph, Inpaint may be used to remove it. Simply select the object. No need for fiddly messing about with the clone tool!

That is class! Just edited out a rather undesirable object from my daughter’s nose in what would (and now is!) an otherwise great picture! However, I can’t save it, so is this just a demo version?

Nope. That’s it then. I have to say – it’s brilliant! I love the example picture you’ve used to illustrate what it can do. That’s what sold me. It’s so typical – there you are, framing a beautiful panoramic shot of the countryside, and just as you click … BAM! … a fighter jet screams right across your line of sight and ruins your pic! Thankfully, such annoyingly regular occurances will now be a thing of the past : o )
What I think is funny about that pic, is when you remove the jet, you’re left with a blurry landscape…
